With a Ph.D. in Coastal Geomorphology, Méha MRANI ALAOUI is the Project Manager for Marine Renewable Energies at LGO-UBS. Her research activities focus on environmental characterization (geological, geomorphological, sedimentological, and biological) and potential impacts (on the physical, living, and human environments) at marine renewable energy production sites (MRE). Her current work is part of the INTERREG TIGER project - Tidal Stream Industry Energy Project (https://interregtiger.com/fr/), in which LGO-UBS is involved alongside MHE56 (a collaboration between SABELLA and the Syndicat des Énergies du Morbihan) for the experimentation of two tidal turbines within the pilot site of the Gulf of Morbihan.
